Car Collections

TrainPlayer for Mac comes with several sets of cars prepared by train artists.  You can add these cars to your trains and use them as you would any of the standard types.

Other collections are available for download from the TrainPlayer Car Collection page.  Watch this page for future additions.  At present it is not possible to create your own collection for Mac.  If you have a favorite set of cars, write us and ask about having it made into a collection.

To add a collection car to a train:

1. Position the pin in the train window where you want the new car to be inserted, or select the car in front of the insertion point.
2. Right-click the train or train window and choose Add Car > Other.  This brings up the Car Collections window.

3. Choose a collection from the left panel.

4. Click the car type you want to insert.  The new car is inserted.

The Car Collections window is modeless, so it stays up while you select as many cars as you like.  When finished, close the window with the close button at the upper left.
