Customizing the Toolbar

The toolbar is handy for keeping your favorite commands easily clickable.  The installed program has our choice of commands on the toolbar.  You can change these to suit yourself.

To modify the toolbar:

1. If the toolbar is not visible, click the colorless button at the upper right of a layout window.
2. Click Customize.  This presents you a panel of buttons and devices.
3. To add a button or device to the toolbar, drag it from the panel to the location where you want it on the toolbar.
4. To remove an item from the toolbar, drag it into the panel.
5. When finished, click Done.

 Items available for inclusion on the toolbar:

• Train Cars: drop-down of car types for adding to trains.
• Throttle: slider for controlling speed, an alternative to the control panel
• Train Speed: display in MPH or KPH
• Track Tools: drop-down set of track drawing tools.  (TrackLayer only)
• Running tools (Stop, Reverse, Uncouple): perform the same functions as buttons on the control panel
• Track tools (Edit, Straight, Circle, Turntable, Station, Run): TrackLayer only.
• Train: scrollable side view of train.
• Other items are standard as in many Mac applications
