To see information about the layout, choose Inspector:
The Layout tab shows:
Layout name: the name of the
railroad, as given in the book or article. You can change this name if
you want to save a copy of the file.
Description: information about the
layout. For layouts from 101 Track Plans, the description
in this box is taken from the book. If you are creating your own
layout, this is a good place to note the source of the plan and any
operating instructions.
Scale: choose your modelling
scale; see About Sizes and Scales.
Height, Width: the overall size of the
layout, in units selected from the drop-down. The size shown here is
based on the image file; it may not match the actual layout, say if the
image has white space around it. These values are read-only. To
change the size of the layout, you can choose a different scale, or adjust
the grid, or modify the background image file.
Units: choose model or prototype, English or metric. The units you choose in this dialog will apply also in other measurement and speed displays.
