Drive!

Don't like the route your train is taking?  Press a key to throw the switch!  This is no ordinary screen saver -- you don't just sit and watch, you use the keyboard to set speed and direction, throw switches, change the view, jump to another layout, change display settings, and more.   One click takes it all down when the boss walks by.

Adjust to suit

You control the pace of the show, the content, and all sorts of display preferences.  Choose the layouts you want to see or not see.  Choose fully automatic operation or manual intervention.  Choose background colors, layout transition rate, and more.  Choose the starting layout and build the train you want to ride.

Experience the technology

A screen saver may not serve a critically vital function, but that doesn't make it lightweight technically.  The TrainPlayer Screen Saver features a new state-of-the-art graphics engine, redesigned and engineered for smoother operation, better auto-scrolling, and unlimited zooming.  This improved engine will be released in TrainPlayer/Tracklayer 3.0, coming soon.

Requirements

The TrainPlayer Screen Saver is for Windows only -- sorry, no Mac version is available yet.  It runs well on Windows NT, 2000, and XP and Vista.  Testing is still underway on Windows 98 and Millenium; for details, inquire by e-mail.

Packages and prices

There are two ways to buy the Screen Saver:

Screen Saver only -- for existing TrainPlayer users, or new buyers who want only the Screen Saver.  Comes with 10 great Westcott layouts.  Many more layouts are available by download.

Included with Deluxe -- for new buyers who want more.  TrainPlayer Deluxe includes TrainPlayer, all 101 plans from Linn Westcott's book, plus the Screen Saver.  TrackLayer Deluxe includes all of that plus the ability to edit and create your own layouts.

Windows 98 / Millenium users:  screen saver is not yet ready for these systems.  Write for status.

Fine print

The Screen Saver is available by download only; Deluxe products are available by download or on CD.  There is no demo version of the Screen Saver.  Purchase of any product entitles user to download track plans from the website.
